It took a while to prepare this post, primarily because the last few weeks and months were pretty emotional… and the reason was/is Cape Town.
To be honest… I completely lost my heart in this amazing and breathtaking city. I never thought, that something like this could happen, primarly because I am a pretty determined person and I always have a complete clear vision of my next steps…. but more about that later.
Back to my Cape Town experience… here we go. A friend of mine showed me the city – and the surrounding nature – in a very special way. We drove the Garden Route till the Cape of Good Hope on an old Suzuki motorbike which was amazing.
One of our first stops was Boulders Beach, which is a pretty touristic place but you really have to see it when you are around… the penguins are too cute not to see and you even have the option to swim with these little cuties.
Cape of Good Hope
The next stop was Cape of Good Hope. I was completely speechless when we arrived, because I have never seen such an amazing and soft light.
Chapmans Peak Drive
After my “Cape of Good Hope” experience I didn’t thought there could be anything more exciting… until we drove the Chapmans Peak Drive. My mouth was open the whole ride and I guess you can imagine why… latest after you had a look on the pictures below.
So my final question is… “Why the hell is this spectacular city on the other side of the world?”
